High Efficiency Screw Capper Machine

In today’s beverage market, screw caps are quite possibly the most popular format used. Consumers prefer the convenience of a container that can be opened and closed multiple times, which is difficult to achieve with other types of closures. And this is true regardless of the material the container is made out of – consumers these days appreciate a screw cap closure on glass bottles as well as plastic. The most efficient way to apply these caps, of course, is with an automated screw capper machine. A high quality system provides improved efficiency, cost savings, and reduced human error.

Special screw capper machine accessories

TEDELTA provides a capping head that is specially designed to be used with screw type caps, such as pilfer proof caps, roll-on caps, pedi strip caps, etc. This simple accessory converts either the TEDELTA-CAR-100-ST or the TEDELTA-CAL-101-ST into a high efficiency screw capper machine. It also has a built-in safety mechanism that prevents damage to the containers being capper. If the capping head doesn’t detect a cap, it will not apply pressure to the bottle. This feature can significantly reduce waste and lost time resulting from damaged bottle necks.

In addition, a separate accessory can be used with this capping head if your goal is to apply non-refillable caps. Alternatively, if you already have a screw capper machine from a different manufacturer, adaptors can be used to attach the TEDELTA CR-504-ST capping head to those machines, which saves time and money.

Two types of screw capper machine

As mentioned above, there are two different types of screw capper machine offered by TEDELTA. The first model is a rotary screw capper machine, while the other is an inline model. Both use the pick-off cap delivery system.

The rotary capping system is able to process up to 60,000 screw capped bottles per hour, making it appropriate for large-scale manufacturing. The machine’s output will depend on the number of capping heads installed on it, giving you the flexibility to adjust the speed anywhere from 3,000 to 60,000 bottles per hour.

The inline capping machine, on the other hand, has a maximum speed of 3,000 screw capped bottles per hour, making it a good choice for smaller production volumes. It uses a single capping head that works with superior efficiency while also ensuring a perfect seal every time.
